Bacchus 2013 - Mike Peters

Bacchus 2013
On Saturday, 2/9/13, I had an opportunity to photograph the Bacchus floats up close and personal. I have a friend who rides in Bacchus, and the floats were staged in Hall J at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans for bead loading. He was going down to load some of his special throws on the float, and he invited me to come along. I was able to walk around and shoot all the floats. This shot is one of my favorites - it is a head-on shot of the front of one of the floats.
